The full process is handled from start to finish, so there’s nothing extra for you to arrange — just choose your gate, and the rest is taken care of. Each installation is carried out to a high standard, ensuring a precise, secure fit and a clean, professional finish.
Installation Process
1. Initial Enquiry
If you’re looking to have a new gate installed, start by browsing the gate designs on the website and choosing the style you prefer. Then get in touch to discuss your requirements and arrange a site visit for measuring. This helps us talk through the best styles, sizes, and options suited to your property.
2. Site Visit & Measuring
A site visit will be arranged to take accurate measurements and assess the installation area. Ground levels, wall alignments, and fixing points are checked to ensure your gate fits perfectly and operates as intended. It’s also a great opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice to achieve the best results for your installation.
3. Build & Preparation
Your gate is then handmade to order in the workshop using traditional mortice and tenon joinery. Each gate is built from solid timber selected for your project and finished with care to ensure accuracy and lasting quality.
4. Installation Day
On installation day, the area will be prepared and cleared before fitting begins. Posts are installed as agreed — either set into the ground or fixed to existing walls — and the gate is hung using quality ironmongery and fixings. Handles, latches, hooks, and other hardware are fitted to specification and checked for smooth operation.
5. Finishing Touches
Once installation is complete, the site is left clean and tidy, and together we’ll check over the finished installation to ensure everything meets your expectations.
6. Aftercare & Advice
